I haven’t woken up at 6 AM regularly for months, even though it’s one of my three goals this year – It’s difficult to keep a routine while traveling.

However, today is my fourth day in a row completing the Miracle Morning.

I woke up at 6:20 AM, brushed my teeth and drank a bottle of water.

Then, I continued reading my friend Alex Banayan’s unreleased book, THE THIRD DOOR, meditated using headspace, worked out on my elliptical while listening to this podcast, reviewed the plan for my day and set an intention for it, gave myself verbal affirmations, and now I am writing to you… Before answering my first email.

The above are the six steps for the miracle morning, known as S.A.V.E.R.S.

Silence – through meditation

Affirmations – tell yourself what you need to hear

Visualization – plan your day

Exercise – do something active

Read – something

Scribe – write or journal

A great miracle morning can take anywhere from 75-90 minutes, but these six simple steps can even be accomplished in less than ten minutes if you put your mind to it. We usually try to squeeze these vital activities in throughout our day or when we’re tired after work.

If you don’t have a morning routine right now, you can go big or start small… Maybe focus on one activity first and incorporate others as you go.

The important part is to take care of yourself in the morning. When you have an impactful morning routine, you will have boundless energy for your mission throughout the rest of your day.
