I love the idea of entrepreneurship.

Create value for others and eat what you kill.

However, in America, we’re raised in a way which often prioritizes profit over purpose.

But unfortunately profits don’t provide purpose, which means if you spend your life chasing financial rewards, you will always fall short of your expectation of what it takes to live a fulfilled life.

Since happiness levels don’t increase as income does (beyond basic needs), why do we chase it? We’re trained to – Even our top bank chain is named CHASE!

But the hamster wheel of chasing status and wealth isn’t the most important thing in life… What is is our families, our friends, and our health.

So take care of yourself this weekend… Do what you need to do to refresh your perspective, connect with others, and commit to your values which provide you purpose.
