Ever send an email and realize you made a typo? Said something wrong? Or forgot to add important information?

You’re not alone. This happens to me every day… on about 20% of the emails I send.

If I’m still on the sent email screen on my laptop, Gmail has an UNDO SEND button which allows me to take back my words and revise them accordingly. Inbox by Google (the far superior mailbox app than the one that comes with your phone) has this same functionality for the phone.

This simple tool has saved my life on numerous occasions. While I don’t always have the discipline to proofread what I send, I always read it after I send and find myself often recalling the email to get it right.

Here’s how you can set-up UNDO SEND.
